    Jun 19,  · This 5-track version of "Moontan" was released for the UK and the US markets. "Suzy Lunacy" was regarded too poppy for these territoria, so it was decided to remove that track in favour of a new version of "Big Tree, Blue Sea" (originally recorded for their eponymous album /5(89).

    I believe that Moontan was the first album that Dutch band Golden Earring released in America. Listen to any classic rock radio station today and you can still hear their big hit "Radar Love". There are only 5 songs on this CD and yet it is a full-length recording/5().

    Moontan is the ninth album by Dutch rock band Golden Earring, released in It contains the radio hit " Radar Love ", and was voted 9th best Dutch pop album ever by readers of music magazine Oor in In the Q & Mojo Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock, the album came #32 in its list of "40 Cosmic Rock Albums".

    I gave this 5 stars for exceeding my memory expectations - this is arguably the best album by Earring and certainly the most popular by virtue of inclusion of the hit Radar Love - BUT - the whole UK album is brilliant and I stress UK,because I looked for the cover of the UK version I remembered from vinyl (gatefold album cover with naked pale moonlit woman- hence Moontan) but all the CDs I /5().

    Release by one of the world’s best-known Dutch bands Golden Earring of one of the biggest Dutch hits ever “Radar Love”. This 7 inch was never released before with this track listing, as both the original UK version as the Moontan LP version of “Radar Love” are included. Pressed on gold coloured vinyl.
